THE COLIN LEWIN CGS INVITATIONAL DAY

Date: Tuesday 18th August 2026

 

Venue: Whitehill Golf, Whitehill, Dane End, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 0JS   (01920 438495)

Organiser: The Sub Committee (Paul, Rich, Dave L & Patrick)

Time:  Registration all players 8.45-9.15am and a bacon bap and coffee

First Tee: 10.30am on the 1st and the 10th 

Format: 18 holes individual Stableford plus team and challenge competitions

Dinner: 5pm Two course meal

Cost:  £60 Member   £60 Guest

Guests: Please let us know your guests name, handicap and email address in advance

 

Buggies: Please contact the golf club direct to book your buggy.

A number of buggies are reserved at the golf club for CGS members but you must book one of those in your name (some pro shop staff do not realise this). 

 

Playing Order: Unlike a usual CGS day, the order of play, pairings and four balls will be arranged in advance. If you have organised a four ball please advise the office, CGS members to accompany their guests or be assigned a guest to partner.

 

Please hand your cards to Barry King as soon as you complete your round.

 

Cancellations: Let the office know prior to the deadline if you need to cancel, or you will be responsible for any charges made by the golf club.
