A massive thank you for all those attending the inaugural "CGS Invitational Day". I hope you all had a great day and I am sure you will agree it was a huge hit with not just the members but the many guests that were in attendance.

The day was set up by a sub-committee to not only celebrate our wonderful society but to introduce and invite prospective new members in the hope we can continue to grow and flourish. The attending numbers speak for themselves that you all welcomed the day with open arms and we are so very proud and appreciate your support.

​

Yes, it was very different from the "norm" of a usual CGS day with lots of added extras with games, challenges and surprises - not forgetting the little helper voucher books!

​

From goody bags, lucky putter comp, helper vouchers, on course quiz, hole sponsors, beat the Joe, nearest the pin, nearest the line, halfway house treats, special guest speaker, our own celebrity book signing, secret singing waitresses and a prize table like we haven't seen in some time. It really was a fantastic day.

We will have some more news to share with you all very soon on the day but until then many, many thanks and here's the 2026.
